OK this is not a mask, but if you want to challenge your papercraft skills and make a pretty ornament, then this little Robin is for you.
Suitable for more skillful crafters.
You don’t need to be a crafts expert, but this pattern is small, so it requires some dexterity and precision. The instructions are easy to follow and with a little patience and creativity, anyone can make it.
*NOTEthat the design does not include the wire legs in the pictures. The robin is designed to rest on its belly or be hanged as an ornament. If you want to find out how I added the legs, feel free to get in touch.
Thin card of around 200gsm is ideal for this design. Thicker card (300gsm) will be hard to fold precisely and thinner one will cockle a lot when painted.
You will be able to download the patterns and instructions immediately after purchase. The file contains a 5 page PDF document that you can print on normal paper.
Beware not to wet the card too much when painting or it may cockle and lose its shape. Building the robin will probably take you about 3 hours.
